VAX-D Medical Technologies is a physician owned, scientifically based company providing advances in medical technology for physicians. We coined the phrase Vertebral Axial Decompression back in the early 1990’s, and then made "VAX-D” our Registered Trademark.  Prior to VAX-D ‘non-surgical spinal decompression’ did not exist.

The American branch was established in 1995, and is located in Oldsmar, Florida near Tampa. The company developed, patented, and manufactures the VAX-D System for the treatment of chronic low back pain. VAX-D Medical Technologies has worldwide patents on this revolutionary procedure ("Operation of a Vertebral Axial Decompression Table") that provides physicians the means to conservatively manage disc disease in patients that were previously only offered invasive options.

Since our first VAX-D system was introduced in 1989, the focus of VAX-D Medical Technologies has been to provide quality equipment and service for our customers. Integrity is the one and only asset that the competition cannot undersell or destroy. As we commemorate our first 15 years in the low back pain field, we celebrate a proud history and commitment to the patients for whom we care, and for those whose lives we have forever changed.

Despite the overwhelming statistics on the magnitude of the problem, there has not been a frontline 'gold standard' for treatment that has been accepted and established throughout the world. VAX-D therapy’s continuing high success rates in clinics and hospitals has made it the leading alternative to surgery.

VAX-D Medical Technologies is dedicated to continued research for the development of innovative technologies in the field of healthcare. For the past seven years VAX-D has been conducting research on cervical disc pathology and treatment. The result is the development of the VAX-D Genesis System; decompression equipment that utilizes the same technology for the treatment of cervical (neck) herniations and degenerative disc disease.
